Growth stalled. Or growth outran you. Both are fixable.
I help apparel and consumer brands find what’s broken, commercially and operationally, and fix it. Then I stay in to help drive it.
Growth didn’t stall because anyone stopped trying.
When the numbers flatten, the room fills with theories about why; it’s the product, it’s the marketing, it’s the budget, it’s the macroeconomic environment. The debate feels urgent, but it’s usually a symptom. Underneath, a question is getting harder to answer: where is this headed?
When growth arrives faster than businesses can absorb it, the failure looks like success from the outside. Revenue is up. Margin, cash, and time are down. The pricing was set when the company was smaller and never revisited. The processes live in people’s heads. Nobody can say with confidence which products, projects, or channels make the most money.
Different directions, same underlying gap; the business and its growth are not aligned. Closing the gap means looking at the whole picture, from financial results, to processes, and how the team is organized to set a plan, and hold the strategy in place against everything that competes with it.
That’s where I can help.

Operator first, advisor second.
Before founding JF Strategy, I was an executive at Hudson’s Bay Company, where I led private brand merchandising and global sourcing across Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks OFF 5TH, Lord & Taylor, and Hudson’s Bay and played a key role in international expansion efforts. I’ve served as VP of Transformation inside a $500M+ private equity-owned apparel business, advised on M&A integration, and developed an international growth strategy. My career spans investment banking, private equity, and management consulting with Booz & Company, with a Harvard MBA and a BS in Finance from Rutgers University.
I’ve made the decisions I now advise on. That changes the advice.
